FCBNA is honored to have been selected as a grant recipient from Direct Relief's Fund For Health Equity. The $75,000 will help FCBNA partner with and support the efforts of Bridge The Gap to address food insecurity.
Mission
Both FCBNA (a chapter of NBNA) and Bridge The Gap are Jacksonville organizations endeavoring to decrease disparities and increase equity among vulnerable populations. Both organizations are deeply rooted in their community and have keen insights into the people and communities they serve, making them well-suited and keenly aware of what can make an impactful difference.
Vision
Direct Relief's Fund for Health Equity supports free and charitable clinics, nonprofit community health centers, and other organizations addressing the underlying issues that Covid-19’s disparate effects have once again highlighted.
